Gary van Deursen, a recognized leader in the field of innovation and design, founded the company in 2006. He holds over 90 U.S. patents and over 130 international patents. He is responsible for the conception and design of hundreds of highly successful, and profitable, new product introductions. He’s been recognized with international design excellence awards from the Industrial Designers Society of America IDEA Awards, RedDot Awards, the iF Award, ID Magazine Awards, and the Chicago Atheneum Good Design Award.

Gary has led global design teams in six countries. He is the former Corporate VP, Innovation and Design for Stanley (Stanley Tools, Bostitch), the Corporate Senior VP, Design and Engineering for Coleman, and the Corporate VP, Global Industrial Design for Black & Decker (DeWalt, Elu, B&D Housewares and Garden products). He is an expert on creating innovative design concepts and leading them through a corporation to production.
